Boom! Congratulations to the Explosion Select who finished as the 18u Runner-up in the ASA 4th Annual Horton Sports Tournament held at Winged Deer Park on 5/28/16! The Carolina Heat avenged an earlier bracket loss to the Select and played 3 extra "if necessary" playoff innings finally besting the Select 4-2 to win the Championship. A total of 10 teams played in this tournament including several quality opponents such as the East Tennessee Select, Maryville Magic, Tennessee Heat, 99 Explosion Select, and 01 Explosion. Several bracket games were low scoring and 1 run affairs. For their efforts, both teams were awarded a free tournament entry and a prize package from Horton Sports. Great job Heat and Explosion!
