The 10U Explosion made some noise in their first tournament of the Fall! They took home 1^st place going 5-0 at an SEAA tournament held at Caswell Park in Knoxville on Saturday, 8-20-11 and Sunday, 8-21-11. The Explosion outscored the opposition 39-12 posting a team batting average of .523 and a .658 on base percentage. The Explosion pitching staff allowed only 12 hits in the 5 games and combined for a total of 37 strikeouts. The defense was solid, as well, with the middle infield committing only 1 error in the tournament. The 10U Explosion will get back to the practice field this week to work on polishing up their offensive production and fine tuning their defensive game in preperation for the upcoming Fall league in Willow Creek.
