On Saturday, December 8, the Knoxville Explosion Fast Pitch Organization held it's annual giving party with 24 children at the Smoky Mountains Children's Home located in Sevierville, Tennessee.  The various Explosion organization families rallied to purchase gifts, gift cards, food and drink to provide a Christmas for youth peers less fortunate than the Explosion Players.  With over 90 Explosion Organization Participants in attendance, smiles and excitement abounded as live musicians playing Christmas Carols met with cheers as Santa Claus, the jolly ol' elf himself visited during the party delivering board games, card games and puzzles.  It was a very heart-warming scene and a blessed atmosphere.  I am extremely proud of our organization and humbled as many familiy members gave and provided their time to help these children that would not otherwise have a Christmas.  Great job Explosion Players and Family Members!  Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!
