The '00 Knoxville Explosion ventured to Johnson City to play in its first true road test of the 2013 Spring Season competing in the ASA Pre-summer Warm up Tournament on Saturday, April 6, 2013.  The competition was fierce and included teams from Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina.  The 8 team tournament field also included some of the Knoxville area's best teams in the White Lightning and Maryville Magic.  The '00 Explosion were up to the challenge going 5-0 beating a very good New River Valley Hurricanes from Southwestern Virginia (Pictured) in the championship game casino online 5-1.  The NRV Hurricanes were a class act and even got into the post-game festivities including Coach Joe doing the Harlem Shake and Gangam Style dancing.....  The '00 Explosion outscored the competition 39-4.  A special shout out to Maddie Sickau, our tournament MVP who hit another 2 home runs in this tournament!  Next up, the SEAA Opener at the new Wear Valley Farm Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on April 13-14.  Great job everyone!
