The '99 Explosion went 6-0 in an 8 team highly competitive tournament and m...atched up against an extremely talented, hard-hitting TN Storm Summer Team in the Championship. The '99 Explosion won 3-1 scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the last inning on a clutch single by Lauren Acker! A special shout out to our homerun hitters for the weekend: Emelia Yelencich, Sydney Dukes and Maddie Sickau! Also a big shout out to the Explosion Pitchers who only allowed a total of 10 runs in 6 games: Molly Muncy, Emelia Yelencich, Hope Mizell and Sydney Birchfield!
