Much love sent out to the Explosion Select who recently competed in the Summer Classic Showcase in Spartanburg, SC over Memorial Day Weekend.  The Explosion Select were one of 78 teams selected to participate from a field of 125 teams who applied to play and only 1 of 2 teams representing the State of Tennessee.  The Select finished pool play 2-1, beating the Atlanta Premier 6-2 and Team Worth North Carolina 12-1 while losing to the Carolina Aftershock 5-1.  The Select drew an extremely talented Worth Cobras team from Atlanta Georgia and lost 7-0 but battled the entire way.  This was the first tournament of the year for the Select and we are all very proud of how they competed and are looking forward to a very excited year of Fastpitch Softball!
