Boom! Congratulations to the '07 Explosion who won the 12u Gold Division of the ISA Kickin Cancer Tournament held in Cleveland, TN on 7/27/19! The '07 Explosion went 4-0 on the day beating the Spirit in the Championship game. A big shoutout to Rianna who threw a no-hitter (Against Base Knox Reign) and Carly who ended up with not 1 but 2 walk-off homeruns in the tournament! Great job Spirit and '07 Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts!

Boom! Congratulations to the 2022 Explosion who finished as the 14u Runner-up in the USA Summer Sizzler in Johnson City, TN on 7/27/19! After dropping the 1st game in bracket play, the 2022 Explosion Caught fire winning 5 consecutive games and clawing their way back to the championship game and losing to the eventual tournament champs, SWVA Rampage 5-1. A big shoutout to Emma who pitched the 2022 Explosion to the championship game! Outstanding work Rampage and Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts!

Huge shout out & Congratulations to our Knoxville #Explosion06 ladies! Our girls capped off their 12u season in one truly awesome fashion!

You're looking at your 2019 USFA World Series Champions! Our girls battled scorching heat all week in Panama City Beach, FL & fought their way through an extremely talented field of competition to capture the 12u crown.

Boom! Congratulations to the Explosion Select who finished as the 18u runner-up in the Big Orange Showcase that featured 24 of the top 18u teams in the Southeast! The Select went 6-1 on the tournament losing in the championship game 4-2 to the Tennessee Freedom on the University of Tennessee's Sherri Parker Lee Field. Congratulations to the Freedom, who is an outstanding team allowing a grand total of 3 runs in the entire tournament! As for the Select, Syd Rogers carried the pitching load for this tournament going 5-1 on the weekend. We are so proud of all of our players and with this tournament, we are finished for 2019! Many tears and much love was exhibited in the post game activities, this team will always hold a special place in Head Coach Joe Birchfield and Assistant Coaches Jason Holt and Payton Kneier's Hearts!

Boom! Congratulations to the '02 Explosion who played up in the 18u division of the Big Orange Showcase! Playing with 24 A level top teams that included the Tennessee Fury, Frost Falcons, Kentucky Softball Club, Maryville Magic and the Tennessee Freedom, the '02 Explosion went 5-1-1 to finish a strong 3rd place! Outstanding work ladies, we are very proud of your efforts! The force is strong with this group!
