The Knoxville Explosion Organization-wide tryout Announcement for Fall 2021/Spring 2022:
Explosion Select – No Current Openings
2022 Explosion – High School Age Players, Needs are pitchers, catchers and utility players. Tryout information: Friday, August 6 from 6-8 pm at Eaton Ruritan Park, address is 4293 Ruritan Road, Lenoir City, TN. Head coach is Brad Logan, (615) 398-9290
2023 Explosion – ’05 and ’06 Players, Needs are pitcher, catcher and utility player. Tryout information: Tuesday, August 10 from 6-8 pm at Holston Park Field, address is 5900 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN. Head Coach is Keith Gray, (865) 323-7249
2024 Explosion – ’06 Players, Needs are a pitcher and catcher. Tryout information: Sunday, August 15 from 3-5 pm at Eaton Ruritan Park, address is 4293 Ruritan Road, Lenoir City, TN. Head coach is Hannah Bruce, (865) 963-9334
2025 Explosion – Due to injuries, Explosion 2025 is looking to pickup 1-2 players (Utility/C and/or OF) for Fall with potential of permanent placement for 2022. Boom! Congratulations to the 2025 Explosion who played into the wee hours of the ISA Kickin Cancer Tournament held in Cleveland, TN on 7/24/21 and won the 14u A division! The field included a total of 15 teams and the 2025 beat Team Easton in the Championship game 3-2! Great job Easton and Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts! |

Boom! Congratulations to the '07 Explosion who played up and won the 18u Silver division of the USA Mid-Summer Classic Tournament held at Knox County Sports Park in Knoxville on 7/24/21-7/25/21! The '07 Explosion beat Diamond Fastpitch 8-5 in the championship game. Great job Diamond and Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts! |

Atomic Boom! Congratulations to the 2024 Knoxville Explosion who played up an age group and ran the table, going 7-0 to capture the 16u Championship of the 2021 Big Orange Showcase held in Knoxville, TN from July 15-18, 2021! The championship game was played at the University of Tennessee Sherri Lee Parker Stadium. Outstanding efforts ladies, we are very proud of your accomplishments! |
